Luncheon & Psalm Sing

On the third Sunday of each month the Evening Service is replaced with Psalm sing and snacks afterwards served by volunteer families from the church.

What to Expect

Family Worship

We believe that God has included our children as members of the new covenant community of Christ and they should be included in our worship service. The position of both Christ and the Psalmist was that children were capable of praising God. (Matt 21:16 and Psalm 8:2). We want our children to learn from an early age what it means to worship God corporately and what better way for them to learn than to be a part of the service.

Dress Code

We do not hold to any particular dress code, other than to dress with modesty so our attention is on the worship of God. Some of our members wear casual clothing, others wear suites and ties.

Psalmody

A unique feature of our denomination is the singing of Psalms without the accompaniment of instruments. We believe our voices are to be the instruments by which God is praised by singing from his song book.
